Artist's Description
A series of schematic drawings exhibits a firefighter's suit on a cyanotype background, typical of historical patent illustrations. Detailed annotations label various parts of the suit, with a full front view in Fig. 1 and a profile view in Fig. 2, while a separate detail of a device appears as Fig. 3. The document is dated February 29, 1876, and credits J.W. Osterberg as the inventor, also including signatures of the inventor's attorneys and witnesses.
